Refund policy

At Trueroots Organic Spices ™ (a unit of MELIONS), we are committed to providing you with pure and high-quality spices. We strive to ensure a smooth, transparent, and hassle-free shopping experience for all our domestic and international customers.

1. Domestic Return Eligibility & Window (Within India)

We accept return requests for domestic orders within 7 days from the date of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened, with the original seal intact, and in the same condition that you received it.
It must be in its original packaging with all brand tags and labels intact.
A valid proof of purchase or order invoice is required to process your return.

2. International Returns & Refunds Policy (Worldwide)

Due to international food safety regulations, strict cross-border health controls, and high shipping/customs costs, we do not accept returns or exchanges on international orders once dispatched, unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

3. Non-Returnable Items

In accordance with international food safety and hygiene standards, the following items are strictly non-returnable:

Products that have been opened, unsealed, or used.
Products damaged due to improper storage, handling, or misuse after delivery.
Items purchased on sale or marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items (Domestic & International)

If your package arrives in a damaged, defective, or incorrect condition, please take photo and video proof before/during unboxing and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at trueroots.spices@gmail.com or WhatsApp us at +91 9924861502.

Once verified and approved by our team, we will arrange a replacement or issue a full/partial refund for the damaged item.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Domestic (India): If your return is accepted due to a damaged or incorrect product, we will cover the return shipping costs and send you a return shipping label with instructions. For standard domestic returns initiated due to personal choices, applicable shipping charges will be deducted from your final refund.
Unauthorised Returns: Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted or refunded.

6. Refund Process & Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your returned item (for eligible domestic returns), we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 2 to 4 business days. Please note that banks or credit card providers may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
